We undertook desk based research and a building survey to inform the development of a Heritage Statement in support of a planning application to part convert the GII listed C16-19th pub to residential use. The entire building was to be refurbished. The construction of additional lavatory facilities and a rear entrance hallway as a separate but attached building to the northern end of the existing buildings was also proposed potentially affecting both the fabric of the pub and its setting.

The planning application was approved.
